Help with GPSMAP 7404
Hi All,
I have a gpsmap 7404 new, and some bluechart maps but the stupid device whatever I throw at it will claim Can't authenticate maps etc etc.
I can see my maps in Basecamp and Mapsource no problem at all. I even tried opensea maps just to see if that would work it accepts nothing.
What am I doing wrong? I have a lot of tools collected in the past few days.gif "beating")
but seemd to have missed something.

@Cnfhbr that is probably the root cause, thanks My device is co branded so I need the latest firmware to make use of some functions. I will watch the thread and see if somebody is able to by-pass . Thanks again
