Recently I got Garmin 205w from a friend and the antenna has some damage on cable.

I have few questions about the antenna.

First that antenna is for GPS receiver or just for FM?

Can I use any other antenna with long cable? For example something like [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Please suggest.
