Thread: Hack normal GPS to enable "truck mode"?

I wonder if there's any custom firmware/hack to enable truck mode like Nuvi 465 and Dezl models for any cheaper Garmn GPS unit?

Truck: This setting will provide turn-by-turn directions using major roads. This setting will also attempt to keep you off parkways or small streets where it would be hard to turn around with a larger vehicle.

For all nuvi devices except the nuvi 465T, the truck vehicle type will NOT give low bridge information or weight limits. This option is intended only to keep big vehicles off smaller roads and is not intended for Over-the-Road Transports. The dezl 560, dezl 760, and nuvi 465 devices do have access to height clearances and weight limits provided that you have set the vehicle type to truck mode and have entered a truck profile. Another option, i could invest in Nuvi 465 device, Junction View in full or split screen, is there hack for Nuvi 465 to enable it.
