In fact, with the fishery, the stream direction arrow helps them to save the cost money so if we run the vessell the same direction with the current water, the fuel cost will down. Pls help me for this solution.
Hi everybody, especially to Mrs. CatyMag,
I see on the Chart of Onwa, Furuno, ... they can show the stream direction arrow on theri map. I think Garmin Map also can be do, too. Please help me how to display or overlay a new stream direction arrow to Garmin Bluechart Map.
Thanks so much.![]()

Hi Giomen,
Your helps is very important with me. However, I use Chart for SEA (South East Asia). But I can not display the stream arrow as your image. I think whether we are South China Sea, whether can we show these arrows? Maybe your chart show as above is in England. The details map in England and South China Sea can be different, so we can not do this. Pls help me to answer about this.

Thanks Giomen and Neil, I have choosen "animated function" in "Chart set up" as Giomen's helps but I can not see any about: Tide Station with Falling Tide and stream current arrow as the pictures from Giomen give me as above. I think may be the current information for South China Sea area and in Europe (especially in US or England) will be detail than our area (South China Sea). I read on the different between G2 and G2 vision and I think it can display stream current "arrow", however i can see current informantion but I can see any "arrow for stream current". I have tried G2 and G2 vision. The final result I can see about this. Can you checked for me about this and give me your directions?
Thank you very much.

Pls give me your best solution to solve this problems. I don't see any "stream current arrow" from my Garmin plotter.
I used Garmin Aquamap 100XS for SEA area and Bluechart Gs Vision (VAE004R-Hong Kong-South China Sea v2013 v15.00).
