    Default G2 vision

Hi I am new here .
I bought a g2 vision card off ebay east coast map of Australia.
I put it in my new garmin 7410xsv plotter/sounder and nothing works .
I have looked around on the net but struggling to find solution if there is one .
I opened up the sd card and i have a folder named Garmin
in that folder i have 4 folders
    GarminDevice xml doc 2kb
    gmapsupp
    gmapsupp.unl
    GPDATE.GCD
Any help or tips to get this running would be greatly appreciated .
    Many thanks Greg

Check with Gmaptool what is this map FID.
Drag the gmapsupp.img in Gmaptool window and hit Detail tab, in log you'll see map FID.
If it's greater than 2200 your map won't work without a file mamed gmapsupp.gma.
You must unlock the gmapsupp.img by gimgunlock.
After that remove gmapsupp.unl from the sd.

Ok rename the file named gmapsupp to gmapsupp.img
I guess the FID of this map is 3250, so that sd, like it is, cant work, because it lacks of gmapsupp.gma file and you cant get it only buying the sd from Garmin.
Solution is unlocking the map with gimgunlock.
Download it here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Drag the gmapsupp.img in its icon, it will be unlocked.
Then remove all the files you have in sd /Garmin but the unlocked gmapsupp.img

    It should work.
