Junction view file is huge: is it possible to edit

My 3597's Junction file keeps on becoming very large with each Garmin update. Is it possible to edit it and remove what's not necessary?

No problem!

The first way is a path of about a 7 sleepless nights. Ask competent users about structure of file - disassemble, delete not necessary JVs and assemble again.
The second way is more shorter. Obtain JCV files for regional coverage and use needed file for your journey.

It has been a while since I play with JCV parsing, but you will need to find correlation between the internal road segment id (ie: Link ID) and gps coord of the junction.

This is a labour of Sisyphus that doesn't make sense.
Too large JCV can always be moved from the internal memory to the SD card.
