    hello,
when changing only the Car Id in the GarminDevice.xml; this is not enough to run the software. The message is still displayed "Cannot Unlock Maps" on start-up the car navigation.
I believe two files are necessary to copy into the SD Garmin root directory ; these files must be a copy of a SD card that was never be used or activated before in a new car.
The unused files to copy in Garmin root directory are: GarminDevice.xml and fm_sub.bin.
Can someone upload these file pls?
    thks

I'm pretty sure patching GarminDevice.xml doesn't make sense at all, as on other Garmin devices GarminDevice.xml is recreated on each restart, and it is never being read only written to.
And still, can someone upload the full contents of SD card? I want to see the whole picture.

Remember: the entire card means about 15GB.
I do not have a premium account to a file hoster. Due to the amount of data, I do not have time and passion to upload a hundred splitted files to a free hoster
If someone can provide an upload location, I will upload it.
But I only have a used card

I took RS748's suggestion and finally after hours of uploading...
The image (built with USB Image Tool) of an used SDcard is online, but only for seven days, so hurry up ;-))

    I've started downloading it. Thanks.
    UPD:
Can you calculate the md5 hash of the img file on your disk using something like WinMD5, so that I would be able to verify the downloaded file?

I've downloaded it. The file size is 16130244608.
Mounted the image with OSFMount. It looks okay, but the MD5 is 0eb4e2834a7fbfb67224245d0d886d22 Will try again maybe...
Can someone describe in detail how such SD card is installed for the first time?
Do you enter any unlock codes?
