I had the same problem, it kept calculating forever.
Due to memory constraints (Working memory) within the device, you may receive a route calculation error if the road to calculate is too long
You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
I had the same problem, it kept calculating forever.
The same thing happens to my converted 3760>3490 for a long time now.
Long second and third Routes are calulated very slowly.
With a very long Route, it calculates up to 99% , then displays the message you got and after that it displays more than half of the Route.
As I start driving this long Route, new instuctions are going to be added to my existing "half Route".
This is normal and depends on the device memory.
There is no real problem with that.
As I can remember, we've discussed this "problem" again a long time ago...
For those who want to test their devices, try a Route from Ankara (Turkey) to Seville (Spain), only 4,392 Km long (in Mapsource)!
Additionally Nuvi will not route across open water (unless ferries are programmed in), nor will it route across different map sets. In both cases you wil get the " not enough memory" error.

You can try two variant:
1) Try rename D3414070A.sid to D3414070A.bak and check again...
2) Try make route through "via point" - first to "via point" and then add the end point...
And do you check SD for working ability. Garmin do not like sandisk especially with loud prefixes.
Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?
hi
and did you fix it?
which sd should i buy? i mean i have only sandisk
thanks i will try it
but now that i have my map and other important files on the sd (in my nuvi is almost empty) can i copy these files to new sd without problems?
i did ask this question about the sd but nobody did aswer
Yes, If you buy a new SD, you can just copy the files to the new SD
Just keep the New Directory Structure the same as the OLD
Do Not Erase the OLD SD before the NEW SD is working properly.
Make Full Backup of Nuvi and SD (Just in Case Murphy is Lurking around).
The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.
