Garmin 1490T battery life

Hi, The battery life on the 1490T is advertised as up to 3 hrs. I know that's optimistic, but I am only getting about 90 minutes on my unit. Is this typical or should I contact Gamin about a battery replacement.

It is normally. 3 hrs be achieved only without brightness and manipulating menu, and in static position with very good sattelites recieving.
I am usually switch on block of screen coz device automatic turn off brightness of display in a few second when I do not use it activly...

Thanks, most of my use is while it's plugged in, so hopefully the shorter than expected battery life won't be an issue. I can always tweek the screen brightnes etc if need be.
