Default Problem with Garmin GB Discoverer on Dakota 20

I had an original GB Discoverer All of Great Britain sd card which I copied all the files on to my pc then onto another sd card, I then tried this in my Dakota 20 and got the message "can't unlock maps". I then looked on this forum and used JetMouse Garmin Keygen v1.5 with checksum fix to create an unlock code. When I put the updated gmapsupp.unl file on the sd card I got the same message "can't unlock maps". Due to the size of the file 2.47gb it has to be installed on an sd card so in the JetMouse Garmin Keygen I used the 10 digit number on the front of the sd card which I believe to be card id although I have read a lot about trying to obtain the sd card id using a card reader or in the Garmin unit itself (couldn’t find details on how to do this on a Dakota 20) but so far I have been unable to do this so am unsure if I have been using the correct card id in the JetMouse Garmin Keygen. The next thing I tried was Garmin unlocker Alternative v5.31c to unlock the file but I still got "can't unlock maps" when I turned on my Dakota 20. I have also tried Fast IMG Unlocker 1.5 but again got "can't unlock maps". Looking around the forum I saw something about newer original Garmin software using a GMA file but I do not fully understand if the GMA file I copied from the original sd card needs to be used as I have not copied it on to the sd card. When I used JetMouse Garmin Keygen the only files I copied to a folder caller “garmin” on the sd card were gmapsupp.img and gmapsupp.unl and after using Garmin unlocker Alternative v5.31c and Fast IMG Unlocker 1.5 the only file I copied to the sd card was gmapsupp.img. From looking on the forum I have seen something about making changes to the software/files on the Garmin unit itself. Please can someone give me some advice on what I should try next. Many thanks

    Hello
if you have the .gma issue the only way, is to use an unlocker-All maps having a MapID >= 2200 will get the "Unauthenticated" status

In Dakota new fw. a jetmouse generated *.unl wont work.
Gma file is made for that specific unit or sd, if you swap sd , .gma wont work.
If you have a 64 bit system you can use the last version of Fast IMG Unlocker, it will work even with big files, if you have a 32 bit system with less than 4 gb memory you need to have 3GB Switch
Look here in FIU thread for instructions

But you need FIU 1.3 or above versions
After unlocking it copy the *.img in your SD without gma and *.unl.

Thanks for checking although using a .unl file didn't seem to work previously. Due to the size of GB Discoverer it has to be installed on the sd card so from what I understand the sd card id needs to be used to generate a code using JetMouse Garmin Keygen v1.5 with checksum fix, this is were I think I was having a problem as the number I used was the 10 digit number printed on the micro sd card, I have read lots on this forum about obtaining the sd card id and am therefore unsure if I have been using the correct number to generate a code I also tried the Garmin Dakota 20 serial number but that didn't work either. Any ideas on how to make sure I am using the correct card id number would be much appreciated. Many thanks
