Apologies if this the wrong place to be starting this. All I need is a little direction. I own a DNX 5260BT that I bought over a year ago. I am getting an outdated map notice on my sat nav. I am trying to look for ways on saving costs to get maps. I live in the UK btw. hopefully someone can help me find what I am after. I want to get European maps, get all the latest POIs and speed cameras too. What do I have to do to get these maps updated on my system? What are unlocked maps?

I have done a few searches by the way and I am none the wiser.

I really need to get started somewhere in learning the system, I think its about time. I dont like the Garmin user experience, I much prefer the TOMTOM UI and user experience. Having said that, I am sure there are some ways I can tweak the system so it works a little better. It seems there is no way to find an address via street address search, I just have to have the post code to be able to search. Not very helpful.

I also need help with updating firmware for my unit as well as Garmin.
