Is There Any Skins For iGO PC 1280X800 (diMkaWertVRV_PC132)

Hi all,

Is there any skin(s) already modded that can be used with the PC version of iGO?

I installed iGO PC on my windows 8.1 (8"tablet) and the iGo skin is to small for a 1280x800 res screen.

I don't want to lower the res of the screen if there is a modded skin available here somewhere that I can try that I can be directed to?

I'm using "diMkaspecter_Dark" as my choice of skin,..... love it, excellent looking skin!

Maybe something that is close to diMkaspecter one?

I think there is NO skin, only supported resolutions.
1600x960 is too big for your notebook, so you can use 1024x600. Only thing you need is sys.txt

You also need data.zip with supported resolution (or you'll get "Failed to open file: ui_igo8\1024_600\loading.bmp exiting application")

No.
This program have only one data.zip and one branding.zip. You have to change only sys.txt for desired resolution.
Supported are: 800x480, 960x544, 1024x600 and 1600x900.
I've seen some modifications on net, but all of them are related to the change of sys and branding.
You can use skins, supported are Gurjon/Arkoko skin, diMkaWertVRV..., but they have no much sense on PC.

Supported are: 800x480, 960x544, 1024x600 and 1600x900.

So this means that I have to keep my tablet @ 1024x600 res. so it can fill the screen?

Also,...if I use the 1280x800 (native) or 1280x768 on my tablet, the iGO window snaps to the upper left of the screen,
.... how can I have iGo fill the screen completely without showing any black around the window?

There is no other way new SKIN or reprocessed data.zip.
Delete in sys.txt (1024x600) - only adds a small border to reduce the 'gaps'.

Well, PC means Personal Computer Usually this is term related to desktop. Sorry, at first I didn't realize you had Win tablet.

Of course you will use native resolution. You can use 1024res only if it looks good at tablet screen (I doubt). I do not think that's a big problem if you put the application window centrally on screen, but I cannot imagine how it looks.

Since data.zip only contained 480x272 and 800x480 bitmaps data, any other resolutions will be scaled on those and will look bad especially the higher ones. For example, if you are trying to get it to work with 1600x960 you would set: resolution_dir="800_480" and specified the scaling of it with: highres=1, screen_x=1600, screen_y=960 So basically you are scaling 800x480 to 1600x960 which will not look good.

People use "WinCE" to indicate the OS of the release (like iGOxxxx_WinCE), so when they use "PC", they are talking about a release that works with PC OS which usually is for desktop or laptop or tablet. You "should" be able to use any skins made for WinCE but are made for 480x272 and 800x480. Any other resolutions will cause problem because they haven't tested nor iron out bugs for those resolutions. If someone have skin diMkaWertVRV_PC132.zip, please post.
