Here R3 maps

Hy everybody,

I looked everywhere and found different answers so I will ask here a (maybe) stupid question.
The kind of maps you can find here:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
are labelled R3 maps.

Are just standard maps or maybe some special type to use in some custom application?

Can I use them like "standard" HERE maps?

Interesting, you've been a member for over 10 years.

R3 dates back a long time, it refers to Release 3. It is an official classification for map formats and data structures introduced for iGO 8.3 and newer versions (Amigo, Primo, NextGen ...).
I don't know what you mean by "standard" here maps. This is the iGO section, of course the maps are intended for the iGO software. They are compatible with all editions of the program except Luna version.
