help igo r3 - alert distance

    Hi, Guys.

I use a version of igo from this site, works very well with 2018 maps.

when i am going down the motorway i dont pay attention to my stero nav screen as i rely on the audio guide.

it only tells me to leave a junction as i am literally on it, so i always miss them.

i have had a look through the config but there is nothing obvious to change.

Any ideas guys? all my other version were fine, just this one does it.

i use this one: iGO R3 HERE [Navteq] EUROPE 2018.Q2 - Torrent (OP)

    Moved to proper section.

Hi scottybuk, and welcome to forum.
First read [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

And since our magic balls do not work, mostly because of global warming (it's foggy), you should read also this [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and complete (edit) your post with all important info, so you can get useful answer without hundred sub-questions.

    Otherwise thread will be trashed.

Colleague MB is right, but I can tell you this:

You will have to find version that is more compatible with your car system.
Nobody can recommend it to you, you'll have to find it yourself trying it out
There is a possibility that this navigation is sufficiently precise, but from my experience, it is up only to a variant of the software.
Before asking a question, know it's already discussed here and at 99.9% is not unique. Use search.

Many questions become very arduous, a lot of time chewed deja vu...Since we have lost all the year of work and effort, many people have no will to answer the same questions again. Me neither. Use a search, please.

You might try to find "Verbosity Level" in the "Sound and Warnings" menu and if it is set to "Compact" or "Minimal", tap it to cycle through the options to "Verbose". The behaviour you describe suggests it may be set to "Compact".
