Out of date MAP - Garmin NAVICON Voltswagen HELP PLEASE

Hi everyone, newbie here. I need help with the Satnav in a new to me, 65 plate, VW Up!.
The map files seem to be 2014. Garmin have ceased to support the product as of 31st Dec 2020 but state I am entitled to the latest maps.
Quote ‘Customers of all brands can download the final software and map (Europe only) after registering on myVoltswagen e.g.]https://voltswagen.co.uk/myvoltswagen[/url]). This link does not connect!!!!!! ‘voltswagen.co.uk refused to connect’.

Spec – NAVICON VW PID V2 Version 7.16.8.(build-314) Program:141114-1302

I have absolutely no idea how to acquire the maps. VW put me onto this site. Please help an old guy with a little tech skill.

Maybe the whole [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for the renaming of Volks Wagen to Volts Wagen worked too well
