Default Garmin Nuvi 66 no USB detect

    Hello,
my Garmin Nuvi66LM has been serving me faithfully for several consecutive years, i have been Updating 5 times through garmin express without a problem, but this week when i plugged it into my computer - it did not recognize itself as usual .
The display shows the animation as though it were connected to the computer, but the computer does not see it / not in device mamager , it doesn't even make TA-DA sound / USB DEVICE PLUGED. i tried with 4 different cables and 3 computers the same .
I tried changing the setting MTP - Auto / MASS Storage - but the computer does not see it again .
I removed the battery in 30 minutes, to no avail .
Work and navigate properly, how to do a software reset, and is there a way to backup at favorite places without a computer, through a memory card - so far I have not put inside.
Any suggestions and ideas on how to revive it for an update.
I have paid updates, but the device is no longer warranted.

Changue the usb port to another, or changue the usb cable, maybe the usb/cable are broken.
If my comment was of interest to you or helped in finding the solution to your problem ...

    Thanks for the tips,
    as I mentioned in the previous post, I tried 4 different Cables on 3 different computers ( with WIN 8 x64 , WIN 7 x64 , WIN 7 x32 )
of those I include another one of mine ( Nuvi 2495 ) and my colleague ( Nuvi 2599 ) they are recognized ! My Nuvi66LM not recognized !
On my previous trip, a friend of mine was with me and he was digging something in the menu.

Could he have made or changed any setting, accidentally turned off USB ?

It's more likely that there is a hardware issue..USB connector on your nuvi could be damaged. I don't see any other explanation from my experience.
