    Default Profile files - syntax

I was using the profiles function of my etrex30x in order to modify a profile for kayaking. Normally I use the unit for walking and biking. The map was a topo map (FriPro v5, Sweden) and when the "Marine" profile was used the contour/elevation lines on land disappeared.
Now the question is how this is made by the .gpf file that is in the Profiles folder of the gps. The .gpf file seems to be xml type file and opening it in a xml editor shows a lot of entries and many of them makes some sense.
But I can not find an entry that controles whether the contour curves shall be shown or not.
This is really not a big problem, I can use any other profile as a starting point for creating a profile of my taste but i am curious of how it works...
Anybody have some insight in this?

    Default

I had compared the original profile files.
Only two significant differences were found by me:

    For marine:
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
    For other land profiles:
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
So only one reason take place in my grey head - <MarineColors>0</MarineColors>
Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?

Yes Giomen, changing the key from 1 to 0 made the contour lines visible. I am a little ashamed but I did not compare the files more than looking at them in two xml editor windows and the blind eye did not see what you found...
Still some strange things, when zooming out the contour lines disappears in the Marine profile and only the major (every 5th) contour lines are visible.
But still, it is not a problem really. I was only curious in what was happening
