Look likes wrong picture size. It is very wide and main beauty picture is out of screen (out of the right side of screen).
Do you modify a standard Garmin image? The optimal size for W model is 480x272 with optional black area (about 10 percents of image) at the bottom of image.
Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?
@franco663
What you have done should have worked (Tools>Picture Viewer>Press required image to select it>Info>check 'Display at power on'). Maybe there is some internal problem causing it not to work, presuming you had a Garmin logo displaying properly initially of course. If you badly want that pic on start up, below is a clean copy in the attached zip. Replace your 'Image 2.jpg' files in the unit's JPEG folder with that file and try again. If that one doesn't work and you want the pic on startup, you can flash it as a logo 'start up image' If so, let me know and i can make it for you.

Thanks I will check again!
@franco663, did you ever resolve this issue?
I'm also experiencing this same problem on a 200W. The picture 'display at power on' used to work fine. Now, it doesn't matter which picture is selected, no picture is displayed on power on. The only change made recently was updating to the latest Software Version at 7.60 now. Did this system update borked the pic feature?
Thanks for the suggestion but it's not that critical--at least for now...
Couple of odd observations now:
1. There is no logo displayed at all on start-up like it used to.
2. There is a blank screen now when it's in the USB mode connected to the PC. It used to display a small image in the center at the bottom of the screen to indicate that it's connected to the PC.
Thanks for the solution. It may be easy for you all but it seems rather intimidating for someone that hasn't done this before nor familiar with the tools and utilities required. I'll have to read up on all this and learn... will be taking this real slow as it seems any screw up could easily brick the unit. Thanks again.
This is reason why i tell you to flash logo, becouse something is wrong with logo.bin.
Go to hidden menu over battery icon and go in inventory page and you will see fail beside logo
Post number that you have writen beside splash, if you don't know how to create logo for flash, i can do it for you
p.s.
What hwid ( bootblk ) do you have?
