Will ESRI Thailand maps work on a Garmin 3750 purchased in the U.S.?

I have a Garmin 3750 which I purchased in the U.S. before moving to Thailand. I planned on buying the Thailand maps (SE Asia) once I got here. Now I find out ESRI has better Thailand street maps than Garmin and costs less (2000THB vs ~3000THB [$USD 99.00])

Somebody cautioned me to be sure the ESRI Thailand maps will work on a USA-purchased 3750 (U.S. Op Sys) or if ESRI requires the Thai OS.

Anybody know? I'd like to go ahead and buy the ESRI (unless somebody suggests otherwise). I'm having problems communicating this question with ESRI Customer Service.
