Overlaying Maps for Oregon450

Hi , I am new to the world of GPS and mapsource. Is there a simple way to overlay transparent contour maps onto other maps (such as openmtbmaps) and then transfer the combined map to my oregon 450 using MapSource ?? Any help appreciated. thanks
