Many questions become very arduous, a lot of time chewed deja vu...Since we have lost all the year of work and effort, many people have no will to answer the same questions again. Me neither. Use a search, please.
Garmin don't make any Linux versions for their software programs, which is a little ironical because their proprietary device firmware Garmin OS is a modified version of Linux. MapInstall will likely run in an emulator or compatibility layer like WINE but i haven't tested it.
