Can anyone tell me if JCV file here linked is the correct file for a nuvi 3490?

34xx not released yet in AUS so no SID and no AUS specific ASR files so some voice command limits exist at present. You get message 'Not available with ..." on some voice commands.

This map (including JCV) will work on 37xx->34xx but you will need to download ASR files again with webupdater as 34xx uses different ASR files.

Overall 34xx conversion still worth doing as nav features are better than 37xx.

Quick Question, I have Lifetime upgrade on my Asus A50, latest map according to myGarmin / Dashboard is 2012.30, does that mean 2012.40 is not compatible with my unit?
