New user...I think I have followed all the directions in post #1 and have all the files downloaded in the correct location. I am getting an error:
"jnx2img.cmd" is not recognized as an internal or external command operable program or batch file.
Any idea what I may be doing wrong?
Thank you

you have to run the program cmd as administrator
(Alex) BTW, you don't necessarily need to run jnx2img as administrator.
Thank you. I had to add the folder to the path settings and the program will run now. However, I am getting an error message:Quote:

I am running the cmd prompt as administrator. I have tried 4 different jnx files in different folder locations with the same error
Please tell the full path of the folder you've extracted the jnx2img archive to, and also the path to your JNX file.Quote:

How exactly do you run the jnx2img.cmd script? I need to see the command you've issued in the command prompt.
BTW, you don't necessarily need to run jnx2img as administrator. The only case it's really needed is if you've extracted the archive into Program files or any other read-only folder.
Thank you, it's working now..Quote:

I had the jnx2img archive extracted to c:\windows\system32 and the maps were in buried in the program files/garmin folder. I moved the jnx2img archive to new folder c:\jnx2img and the jnx maps to c:\maps.
Using parameter "MapSeries=24" I was able to combine with a topo map IMG and waypoint IMG file (converted with gpx2img) and can see the the roads and waypoint overlayed with the birdeye image.
Thank you for your work developing this tool and for sharing it.
Hello
Thank you Alex, you are the best
