@Allin
In my opinion, your answers above are illogical.
Moreover, GMapTool joines such IMGs (with the same MapIDs) with the following warning:
Code:== Warning: repeated map ID number.
...
There were warnings, result can be faulty.

Hi,
@Cnfhbr
It is this message that disturbed me and so I looked for a solution to get automatically a new ID number each time.Quote:

@Alex,
I also modified the jnx2img.cmd program a bit by adding two lines.
After line 55
===================
echo Done.Code:for / f %% i in ('tools \ random.exe') do set MapID = $ %% i
if exist Temp rmdir / q / s Temp
goto exit
=================
I added "rmdir / q / s Temp" at the end of the program because from time to time the file Temp was blocking and I had to launch a "chkdsk".
Also as I was processing several .jnx files and not having to type on ENTER each time, at the end of the program, I added a "REM" before pause.
This says, this program is wonderful, thank you very much Alex :)

Alex, attached the modified program
Then why did you make the script that assigns the same MapID to all the maps in the batch?Quote:

That's a non sequitur.
@Cnfhbr
The script (the one that is modified) gives a random MapID to each maps. :classic:Quote:

That's a non sequitur.
This script suits me especially and that's why I sent it to Alex for information. :)

A few posts above you've answered to Alex quite the opposite:Quote:

jnx2img is updated.
In version 1.8, new "CodePage" parameter is added, which allows for specifying the map code page.
The supported values for "CodePage" parameter are listed in the first message of this thread, as well as the downloading link.
