Capacity of Montana 650t for Customized Maps and how to show them as different selectable maps

Dear all,

I have been preparing a lot of custimized maps (*.kmz) but after sending them to a Montana 650t the system says "Too many images of customized maps. Not all of them will be shown".

Somebody knows the maximum capacity (number and size)?

The system shows all of them as "Customized Maps". Is it possible to separate them so I can select and deselect them?

Hi,

Montana can only display 500 .jpeg files (for example one "big" .kmz with 500 .jpeg files or two .kmz, the first with 300 .jpeg, the second with 200 .jpeg).

You can't select and deselect .kmz separatly.

If you want to exceed this limit, use .jnx format :

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

But you'll have to patch Montana firmware :

Hi, I have a similar problem. Low, by ejmplo 10 TerraIncognita orthophotos with the program and saved as JNX file. After the move to SD card and appear gps 10 JNX files. However when I try to select those files on the gps see that only appear in 8. Do not let me put more than 8 files downloaded from the program. What is the error I'm making? Thank you.

Although all jnx name files are not written in Map selection, they are present in your GPS.

Each set of maps (JNX) should have a different meaning "ProductId (Group_ID)". This program can change PrId(Group) - 'jnxCustomizer.exe'.
