I'm a newbie here!

Sorry if this has been covered before. But I've recently brought an Oregon 450 and was wondering if any of you kind people could suggest any good programs for creating UK OS style maps?

I've got a few memory-maps maps of some national parks Dartmoor, Exmoor etc and was wondering if there was a way to create maps from these so I can use them on the Oregon 450?
