    Thanks for your answer
I understand all that but I just wanted to know if the new version v25 could open .img files directly without having to use multiple software.
With your answer I understand that it is not possible

    Thanks!

I'm facing an issue when starting the latest v26.1 builds on win10 (more specifically b021825 and b031125). The displayed error message on application startup is "Cannot load library pdalcpp.dll" even though this dll exists in the application folder. The problem is not manifested in v26.0 b091724 in otherwise identical environment. I don't have copies of other builds that have been released in between those. Is there anything I could do to circumvent this problem?

Such an error is clear - it does not mean that the file is missing, but that the program cannot access it
There can be many reasons, they can be solved:
    - by simply reinstalling the program
    - by registering that dll file (regsvr32 command)
    - by moving/copying it to the system (Windows/System32 or ...) or some other folder
    - and if everything is fine, it may happen that the antivirus blocks access. Add it to the exceptions list.
And whatever you do, make sure you have admin privileges
Before asking a question, know it's already discussed here and at 99.9% is not unique. Use search.

Many questions become very arduous, a lot of time chewed deja vu...Since we have lost all the year of work and effort, many people have no will to answer the same questions again. Me neither. Use a search, please.
