Do not run the executable archive after downloading, instead use 7zip/Winrar/Winzip etc to open the archive and extract the contents. The required files will be found in the MapData folder. Use gimgunlock [[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to unlock the map
I usually preview the archive content using wobzip.org, but it wasn't working this time, so the link content other than the first are my assumptions based on file sizes. There are also additional links which presumably have the same content based on file size. If there are any discrepancies please report it in this thread.
Spoiler: Additional links

Hi my garmin is Nuvi 2597 purchased in US. I installed City Navigator India 2014.10. Map works fine. But JCV and Lane Assistance not working. Any clue?
Yep, a great idea by syzygy. This marvelous tool: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] but unfortunately it will not work for your NA 2597 or any other unit which gets either a black screen or crash/reboot error with original Indian JCV file. The same symptoms will re-present with the patched file so don't bother trying, just delete the JCV file. See compatibility and an explanation in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] by syzygy.

No Neil, I don't think the Indian JCV has any encryption at all.
@avhnmurthy, the Junction View is only available on certain highways for a few exits. Just make a simulation along the NH8 in Mumbai to check.
Yes of course, you're right manojmat. I recall doing a test using a US/EU fw nuvi quite a while ago and the JCVs showed so they have the same file structure as the non-Asian JCVs . My bad, sorry. Thanks for the polite correction ...
