Dead right Mate... I did totally miss that you have a nuvi, not an outdoor model. I think [from memory] that the only nuvis that can use raster content as in GB Discoverer series is 5x0.

So to save me having to put Mapsource or Basecamp on my computer for a one off fancy and having to struggle to learn how to use them, how about my original request of an gmapsupp.img link ? You obviously know how to do this and I don't. ....Graeme

Using MapSource is extremely simple ... think that I did too

If you use the portable version, you'll have no problem with the LMU (I use two LMU and MS on my PC and never had any problems)

Available for clarification, but there is everything in the Garmin Tutorial section .....
Totally agree. It's not that hard if even Roger and I can do it. I actually do have this map already, but i live a bit out in the bush here and my adsl is really cr*p so a big upload like that will fail. Even if someone did it for you, as the Cryptic Crossword Master points out, what help would that be for you in the future and anyway, using the basics of MS (and BC) is really very simple. The first time i used MS i just looked at this [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] from the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Rog suggested to you, and was able to send an image from MS within minutes. The rest i learned slowly (suits my slow brain). Just have a go, we'll help you if you get stuck (make sure you post for help in the right thread though, and only after reading up). Good luck.
