    1. When somebody stoles your Nuvi you will not be able erase log in Where I've Been.
    2. Open current.gpx from your device with Mapsource and you will see recent tracklogs. These tracklogs are recorded in some devices without your acknowledge.

    But in Hexeditor anybody can restore log in hot pursuit at 90 percent of cases. I many times successful restored a data on masstorage device for my friends if they occasionally cleared it!
    So strongly recommended fill a file system with 00 or random data and then format a device if thieves or you wife have serious intentions
