Change the built-in preloaded Marine POI basemaps
in GPSmap 60/76C(S)x (International MarinePois database)

For the older devices Garmin provides the marine.exe Program which loads the marine POI basemaps in the mapping memory of devices like GPSmap 60/76C. For the newer devices only the memory region number in the rgn-Files had to be changed from 0A (map area) to 31 (marine basemap area).

The Marine Point Database (Americas) comes factory installed with the eTrex Legend, eTrex Legend C, eTrex Legend Cx, eTrex Vista, eTrex Vista C, eTrex Vista Cx, eTrex Venture Cx, GPS 60, GPS 72, GPS 76, GPSMAP 76, GPSMAP 76C, GPSMAP 76S, GPSMAP 76CS, GPS 152, Rino 120 and Rino 130.

The standard map coverage includes:


Nautical navigation aids such as lights, buoys, sound signals and day beacons.
Tide stations (only viewable on GPS 72, GPS 76, and GPS 152)

How to apply this Program:
1. Connect your GPS to the computer
2. Start the Int_Marine_POI.bat by doubleclicking it
3. Wait a few seconds untilt the flash is complete.

If you want to flash the American POIs then start American_Marine_POI.bat
