Reply With Quotefound out the issue...gps signal was too low. once it improved, device located itself and everything is fine now.

dear u r doing a great job. cannot thank u enough.
Pls i need some help,
1- i have bought garmin 1310 from dubai. now want to use it in pakistan.
2- i have downloaded pkmaps2010, ran setup on my pc.
3- Connected 1310 with PC thru usb with 4gb sd-card in it.
4- Made a folder named garmin on sd-card and then copied the the GMAPSUPP.IMG (13974kb) file from my PC's pkmaps folder, in the newly made garmin folder in the sd-card.
5- turned on the device, in tools-maps-info area, it shows name of two maps with "cliker" in front, one pkmaps and other middle east map.
6- i have uncliked the middle east map, then when i try to browse or view or get location...it still always show some US map.
7- pakistan map never shows up.??
pls help me in this regard, i will be thankful.
