Neither of those links helped me.
So i must be just plain stupid.
Can't find a solution here, so i'll try my luck with other sites....

If you choose to have the map named as "gmapsupp.img" then it should be saved either as "[GPS unit]:\Garmin\gmapsupp.img" or "[Memory card]:\Garmin\gmapsupp.img".
Newer units can store maps with any name and file extension IMG in the "Map" directory as "[Unit or Memory card]:\Map\whatever.img". It depends on what unit you have.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Either create an unlock file with 25 character unlock code generated by [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] or use a lock mechanism remover like [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
If you opted for usage with unlock code - Check that "gmapsupp.unl" is correct with just 25 bytes and no extra blanks or line feeds. Verify the UNL-key with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Also make sure that you see the full file name with it's extension. Otherwise it happens that the file might actually be saved as "gmapsupp.unl.txt".
You must have the correct UnitID and MapID/FID combination when creating the key. Just one typo makes the code invalid for your unit and map combination.
If you doesn't succeed with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] then you have made some error. If the JM KG attempts fail try the method with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (Fast IMG Unlocker) instead.
