By the way, if I change the transparent map tile in the "Two Records" example to non-transparent the MapSource list still shows two records. Thus, I will get two records even if all map tiles are non-transparent in this case.Originally Posted by syzygy
To change the transparency for this test, do as below.
Open the "Two Records" example by a hex editor such as UltraEdit or WinHex
Go to file offset 00025d27 in hex
Change the byte value there from 07 to 05

It appears Garmin has discontinued their Topo Israel map and now only offers the light version which is based on the community-generated OSM database. Originally Posted by yossiat
