I think you have to use Updater.exe cause you have same firmware version as you already installed. Originally Posted by sroghen

If you are sure about 3d map and already selected from menu Tools-->Settings-->MyMaps. Originally Posted by sroghen

My gmap3d.img is in the .System folder on my 3750. BTW the US 3750 does not support 3D building either, but it does with the CHN firmware.
Obvious note: to see 3D building you have to be zoomed closed enough and you must in an area where there is a 3D building...
Obvious note2: I use the US gmap3d.img. This means I cannot see any building in Europe...Last edited by turboccc; 22nd August 2011 at 03:50 PM.

I have 3790 but your 3750' story make me can not stop my wish. I will buy another 3750 to try CHN2.50
Note to turboccc :: Why not ?? Just put EU 3Dmap and then you can visit The Eifel everytime you want.

Let me just see....perhaps it could just be Im not next to a 3D building, but I thought it would show 3D terrain.
I can definitely see the CN North America 3D Unlocked (checked), if I remove the 3D file, this map disappears.

Go in Toronto (Garmin office) or New York. Plenty of 3D buildings to see there...

LOL! No need to drive or simulate. Just click the map with finger and scroll the map until you are there...
Then, zoom in.
Or
Click in Where-To, POI, Attractions (or something relevant) and find the CN Tower in Toronto (for example). Selecting this POI will put it on the map.
