Hi,
I just wanna give my quick impressions.
First of, this version is far better than the first version. But I noticed today when I made a hike in France.
That there are allot of trails not showing on the map. The contrast whit the "Benelux" topo is big.
In that topo (that I use allot) nearly all trails are on the map, but today I went for a hike in France, and I had to follow trails that dint show on the map.
Witch is a pity, cuz you don't really know where your going then.
Regardless, I had a lot of fun in the beautiful northern regions of France.

Hello,
I've installed the topo maps of france but when i tried to copy them to my GPS with mapinstall, the programm tells me that the product.mdx is wrong. Is there anybody who has the same problem? Who knows the solution?

I've managed to get topo France V2 working on my PC. How do I export the map for the whole country to a 4gb SD card? My first attempt does not seem to have worked. There are many, many, individual maps - and the resultant .img file is not recognised as topo france by fast.img
Many thanks for any advice - I'm new to this!

I have V2 showing in the drop down of mapsource but cannot unlock it. To unlock mapsource is sending me to the Garmin website which asks for a 8 digit code. My mapsource got updated to 6.15.4 when I recently downloaded Base camp. Looking for advice on how to proceed thanks, have a Montana 650 just arrived and no mapping to use.

Dear All,
I have successfully installed and unlocked the map on my PC with MapSource, and transfered them to my Garmin Edge 800. They work well on the device, no problem with that. By the way, thanks for all the help above.
However, when I plug my Edge 800 on my Mac and open BaseCamp, the map don't show on the side tab, as does the map I received with my unit. I basically can't have the detailled data of my map on Basecamp, hence can't create routes etc...
Anyone has any idea on WTH? :o)
