Garmin StreetPilot c340 Map Update??

Hello people. I have Garmin StreetPilot c340; I think it’s time to update it. Right now, when I enter the location, it finds it, but to give me directions to it from location I'm at the moment, it takes good 30 minutes (sometimes even more). Something needs to be updated, but what exactly. I don't think my map is that old on it, City Navigator North America NT 2009, and my Software Version on it is 6.10. What do I need to do for it to locate me and give me directions a bit faster?? Do I need to update my MAP on it, along with anything else?? Thank You People.

Do you have last update of the sofware for your Garmin? I do the same thing for a StreetPilot C320 (Citu Navigator 2010.10), but before I download the last update available. And it works fine.

I suggest an hard reset, but before backup your data.
To reset, remove the face plate of the unit by gently prying it off. Locate the "Reset" button under the face plate and press down in order to restart the device.
V.6.10 is the latest update.

Sounds to me like it is having trouble linking to Satellites....not a whole lot you can do if the antenna is bad.....don't know if that model has it as part of the mother board...never had one of those apart
