In this case, it is worth waiting a little longer because the new version of Autoguia 2.33 is coming out.

I already have CNBR2011.40 saved in the Map folder in the SD card.
Do I just delete the map I have stored previously and copy this compilation into the Map folder?
Are my favorites (saved points) gonna be deleted or overwritten?
I'm using Nuvi 3790LMT.

better you download autoguia and tracksource separate IMGs and put them in Map folder with anyname.img, so you wont change all the stuffs at every autoguia or tracksource new release.
look for them here

I just want to make a note that changing the maps won't affect any favorites.
