Ya, I think there is a problem with the 2011.2 maps... the routing is messed up sometimes... it takes a really long way. And, when i zoom in, I cant see the Sea or creeks that we have... they become white.
The fix for that was to keep a previous version active while running the 2011.2

I am sorry man but my unit is pre-loaded with the CityNavigator Middle East & N Africa NT 2011. I just updated the version to 2011.30 online.

Can you share the updated gmapprom.img you have in your unit ? It's in System folder, to see it you must enable hidden folders in windows folder options.

If present gmap3d.img and gmapdem.img (.System) and other files in folder ASR, G2S, JCV plus SQLite\DXXXXXX.db are interesting very much too!
Jek Romero are not afraid - all this files do not have any personal data! And you may search for folder /IMG/City Navigator Middle East NT 2011.30.gmap/ on your PC so it is mapsource version of map.
