Garmin XT questions JCV / G2S / base map
hi! to all,
I searched the forum: index & glossary
but couldn't find answer to these questions:
what means JCV & G2S?
what is the use of the base map?
I made tries with and without ... didn't notice any difference
do I need all this stuff: JCV / G2S / base map
to run Garmin XT on a WinMo 6.5 phone (HTC HD2)

You have to navigate to get to the good.

read ... thank you for pointing me in the right direction and shame on me for not finding
BUT
3 letters (JCV or G2S) are not enough for search engine
and 2 days for reading the whole Garmin forum is a little bit too short
I'm almost all set now with basic steps
as a summary to my questions:
- base map is NOT necessary, but it can be usefull
- as I run GarminXT on a mobile phone JCV & G2S are NOT compatible
am I right?

better to have a basemap in your phone-
You'r right ,JCV & G2S are NOT compatible with Garmin MobileXT
