WebUpdater will check what you have within your unit., so just copy back all voices into nuvi if you want webupdater not to offer voices anymore.
Hi...my 1st question since joining, hope this is in correct forum.
Garmin Nuvi 1310(T)
I have removed all foreign voices (except the 2 British English because I am english from UK) and saved to backup folder on my laptop.
Now when I connect to laptop and use the Garmin WebUpdater to check for any updates ie:maps/software, I get all the foreign voices (that I removed) showing for download.
Question is: is there anyway to stop WebUpdater from showing these.
I dont get as above when I use Garmin Dashboard.
thanks
Andy

I don't think I will be reinstalling the voices just so WebUpdater wont offer them lol kinda defeating what I've already done in removing them. Thanks for input.

As far as I can recall, you can uncheck the voices you don't want to download. Webupdater will keep asking you in future updates - but at least will skip the download phase...
There is a very hard way to do it! Write in GarminDevice.xml file in Nuvi a voice files stroke before you launch the updater SW...
simple and useful tip
title changed and added in tutorial section
thanks
