I have a little problem with Garmin SG MY NT 2010.30 - it works fine for both my 1350 & 1250. However for my car which has GVN 53 - I can view the maps but I cant get it to do "address search" because it cant find city?!? Any bros here have any ideas on this...any comments and help are appreciated. Many thanks.

I got a garmin 1350 US set, I downloaded map TypeA. Unfortunately I can't see there is any different in maps mainly 3D.
Is this limited to certain place only?
Also my JCV also not working...... any idea?

You need a SG/MAL FW. Already stated here in the forum previously, also how to change it.
But keep in mind, all done with risks, no one takes responsibility when u brick ur device

This is the first NAVTEQ map for the region less detail than the 2010.20 TA. Not worth switching unless you need TMC.
Has anybody tested SingMal-2010-30 Q3 with other Garmin models such as the 1460? Not sure the hi-res JCV works there.
Glad to have found this page!!

I see no reason why you cannot test it by your own?
I mean, how difficult could it be to exchange the 2 JCV Files on ur device.
Test it and tell us the result. Others will be happy to know it

    Just saw this in
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
    website.
If Type A map is for 765, then Garmin 1460 device should be able to use Type A map too. "The map is available to Singapore/Malaysia localised nuvi205/ 205W/ 255W/ 765/ 1350/ 1460/ 1250/ 3790 that were purchased from authorised dealers in Singapore/Malaysia."

Nuvi 1xxx is the new generation as 37xx.
So you can use all of them., but bigger size is better.

I have downloaded and have an existing "City Navigator Singapore/ Malaysia NT 2010.20" that was working fine. I downloaded it from Garmin Singapore Website. I was told that I am NOT allowed to download updates anymore as I am only entitled to download a free map update only once and have to pay for subsequent updates thereafter. I have tried to installed this latest "City Navigator Singapore/ Malaysia NT 2010.30 Q3 (img+JCV)" into my Garmin 1460. I used Jetmouse Keygen with FID:2133 but my Garmin device could not read the map. Has anyone successfully installed this map? Is there any other configurations I need to set in Jetmouse Keygen Custom Mapset (example: FID, PID, RgnID, VenID)? Sorry, I am a noob, still finding my way around. Thanks in advance for any help I can get.
