I have made two separate mapsets from CN NA 2011.30:

A very small "local" map
A very large "everything" map

I would like to use the local map by itself when not travelling out of area, and use the everything map when travelling (the point being it would speed up processing while using the smaller mapset). Since these mapsets have the same FID, they are grouped together on the map info page, with only one selection box. Is there a way I can change the FID on one of the maps and still have it function normally? Or is there another way? Moving a 1.3GB file at 500KBps back and forth is not a favorable option...
