Only the startup scereen and ECO route - gauges - if I know can be changed...
So I've been trying to track down a firm answer on this topic across the web and finally landed here, which seems to be a pretty legitimate developer forum.
My question is...is it possible to change/customize the stock Garmin interface colors? (specifically on Nuvi 200W, generally across all Garmin GPS devices).
Getting more specific:
- Background color, daytime / night time schemes
- Font and type color
- Digital speedo and readout template
Instinct tells me the graphical UI is locked down by a combination of hardware and software, though I'm curious as to if anyone here has tinkered with it? I can imagine it's not at the top of the priority list in terms of what the GPS device can / should do, though I simply can't stand the appearance of certain elements...like purple buttons.
Any insight is appreciated!

Yes, the overspeed numerals are Red on Black!
In daylight it's impossible to see.
Need a GUI editor to change colors of tabs and what not...
Garmin should think over this questions...
Better ask this question in the firmware section. Everything is in the FW. Not much discoveries as far as I can remember. Lets see..:
1. Turbocc Symbol Extractor
2. GIR Editor
3. There was one tool more...let me remember...Bitmap Hunter!:
