Unlocking maps in MapSource with JetMouse

First :read the note at the bottom of the post

1.
Download and run KG
Garmin_kgen_1.5+Fix.rar (450 KB)
Download [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

2. Enter Unit ID (Device ID)

or any random 10 digit number (to unlock only in MapSource)

3. Select Map Product

If product not listed, select last option <custom mapset>

4. Enter FID (Map ID)

If additional fields needed click on "Enable additional fields", fill up as needed

and click "OK" button

5. Click on "Generate"

And you have unlock code

6. Select unlock code with mouse

and copy it (Ctrl + C)

7. Open MapSource program, and when get this message

select "Skip"

8. Now in MapSource progream select: "Utilities" -> "Manage Map Products..."

9. Open second tab "Unlock Regions"

10. Click on "Add" button

11. Paste unlock code in upper field (Ctrl + V)

Enter whatever you want (or nothing) in second field, click "OK" and you will see your map product in list.

You can close "Map Product Manager" window, or you can continue with other products by pressing "Add" button.

NOTE with new Mapsource versions you'll have to use a special mapsource patched version or Jetmouse wont work

download with FF ,to avoid corrupt downloads with IE
some antiviruses give false alarms with KG, the file is clean

Thanks.. That was easy

But how do i transfere the map to the garmin unit? In my case Topo france V2 (mapsource) to Garmin Oregon 550??

Please i need it Baaaad

1. Connect your Oregon to your computer.

2. Press the Map Tool icon in the Mapsource toolbar (or use Tools --> Maps in the menu)

3. Now use the mouse to select all the maps you want to transfer to the Oregon. (You may have to zoom out)

4. Select Transfer --> Send to Device in Mapsource.

I now have a eTrex Vista C and I know this keygen work great for it. But now I want to buy a new GPS-unit for geocaching. I would like to get me a Dakota 20 or an Oregon 450. I'm still in doubt. But will this keygen work for these newer types of GPS'es to?

I have used the unlocker to unlock France Topo v2 which works fine on my PC in Mpasource.

I try to transfer partila maps to my unit (Edge605) but the unit them cannot read them. I am selecting MobileXT on the unlocker and entering the correct MapID(395) so any guidance on where I am going wrong would be appreciated.

how did you rename your img? where have you copied it? internal or sd memory?

I have tried saving to SD card and to the unit with no joy. Now that you ask the question about naming, I ma y ahev the answer. I am naming to note the map content whereas I guess it should be GPMASUPP.IMG.
If I am correct then thank you for pointing me in the right direction. If not can you advise how I should be naming the file.
If I use GMAPSUPP.IMG will I still need to add a GMAPSUPP.URN to the unit/card to make it work.

I've followed your tutorial to the letter but still can't unlock the detail for the maps?? I'm trying to unlock bicimapas Mexico GPS Atlas ver 5.2 in mapsource version 6.15.11!
I'm missing something that probably very obvious, any help would be appreciated.
