Introducing the product map of Slovakia, which serves as a practical tool for the direct orientation in the field or planning weekend trips or summer holidays. Throughout the processing of applications, we think especially for the end user - the traveler, cycle-tourist - in order to relieve him through the maps stay in nature. This product will be helpful and appreciate the opportunities offered by the outcomes, including all the information it contains.

Main advantages

The application is primarily to allow the general public quickly obtain the necessary information on the possibilities of tourism, sport and relaxation in the Slovak Republic. Site is usable for walking and car navigation systems, Garmin, and they allow the easy identification of any TZT (marked tourist route) or CT (bike route). The most important GIS layer map is a digital, vector and topologically continuous map of a complete set of network hiking trails and cycling routes.



It will only works on navigational equipment and programs that support Garmin format NT.

-TZT - TZT 1336 with a total length of 13 074 km

-TIM - 4433 tourist information points

-CT - 331 135 marked and unmarked routes with total length of 7 456 km

-River Network - more than 74,000 sections of rivers and streams in Slovakia with their own name

Water-surface area - 5,100 water bodies in Slovakia called

-Directions - the flow of water in major rivers

-Moors - marshed territory of Slovakia

-DEM - digital terrain model - shaded relief and elevation profile drawing of navigation routes

-Contour line - density contours with 25 m

Built-area - built area to geo city or village

-A database of interesting objects - POI (výškopis, restaurants, hotels, garages, mail ...) - more than 71,000 objects

-Road network - more than 321,000 road sections with a total length of 52,000 km (roads I. II. And III. Class)

Network-streets - streets with their names in all major towns and villages in Slovakia with more than 1,800 people, more than 500 municipalities in the street detail

Data-layer - the data to optimize the navigation route

Rail-net - the railway station

-A database of cities and villages, with the name and district name and code

-Výškopis - and the names of mountains in Slovakia

-Wooded areas - all wooded areas with a separate indication of protected areas and national parks
