hi all, just got the nuvi 1410 from gulf, visiting egypt soon, any specific information what to expect if i buy the cairo map? i.e. turn by turn , detailed information? any agency in egypt for Garmin. thx and regards,

Guys,
thanx a million for this post i was particularly looking for Jordan map.
But execuse my amateur questions,
I normally keep the gmapsupp.img file in a garmin folder on the SD card,
shall I do the same for this file, and my understanding is that i do not need the gmapsupp.unl file any more in the same folder.
can u plz advise

Download unlocked IMG, unpack file with WinRar, rename IMG file to gmapsupp.img and copy it to Garmin folder on your device.

Hi. Wondering if you can help with a request regarding the Lebanon mapsource version.
I have downloaded and run the file from a link I got from another thread "Garmin map of Lebanon (mapsource Ver)" dated 4/2/2009. The folder "Lebanon" and its relevant files are in my C:/Garmin directory but still no Lebanon map in the Maps drop-down menu. I can't seem to get it to work.
I apologize if this is not the correct thread to post this and if that is the case I appreciate if someone can re-direct me and I'll repost my query. Many thanks.

I am getting this message when I run install.bat : 'cgpsmapper' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
The batch file is therefore not initiating the setup. I am using Malsource version 6.16.1 could this be the reason?

Download: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (password: mac)
Works for MAC (RoadTrip) and for WIN (Unlocked Mapsource instalation!)Map is fully unlocked.
Prerequisites: Garmin software for MAC: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
RoadTrip for MAC instalation: just click the .gmap file and it is installed!
Mapsource instalation (Unlocked): GMAP folder is Mapsource compatible. Move the GMAP folder into location: in XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps
(in Vista, Windows 7 - C:\ProgramData\GARMIN\maps). Restart Mapsource.
Folders are hidden. Before moving the GMAP folder, check "Show hidden files and folders" option.
