Have you thought of giving the [brut] version of Maps a try? It's hacked to allow Google Navigation to work outside the US, UK and Ireland. I used it before Google Navigation went live in the UK and although it's not perfect it worked pretty well.
Hi,
I will buy and HTC Desire, Android 2.1 os. Now I'm preparing to get and test many gps software on this platform, because this will be the main use of this phone.
Since I am new to this platform and software, I kindly ask you for information about the software that I could use as gps nav software and map install tips if some conversions are needed.
The main ideea would be to have the list in every post with rating for map quality of each product.
I am in central Europe and I will be using the gps mainly in Czech Republic and some trips in Eastern Europe.
I will start by posting a link where you could find important information how to convert a mapsource compiled map into an android nav soft compatible format.
