Wayviewer POIAlert v1.60 J2ME-cra cked by N0ePDA
It's always good to know what's going on around you, especially when you're in a place that's foreign to you. Thanks to the power of GPS it's now possible to discover what's nearby just by looking at your phone.
If you're lucky enough to have a GPS-enabled device then you'll know that it's already possible to create and download points of interest to make the most from your satellite capabilities. Thus, you can check whether there are nearby gas stations, restaurants or even speed cameras.
Until now, it's only really been possible to view this information on a map, but don't you reckon it would be easier if you could receive a visual warning or a voice alert to give you a clear indication of when that POI is in range? Especially for speed traps, I would imagine.
Wel, dream no more, because POI Alert has been designed to alert you to radar signals and speed limits. Even if you don't have GPS built into your phone, it's compatible with external GPS receivers connected via Bluetooth.
After a rather lengthly set-up process, the program performs very well and there are plenty of options to fiddle around with for setting the type of alert you want and adjust the distance notification in a speed-dependent way.
If you're fed up with getting caught out by hidden speed cameras and have GPS capabilities on your phone, POIAlert can help you out.
