rename the map gmapsupp.img and unlock with jetmouse keygen creating the unl file with notepad
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

on jetmouse keygen v1.5 put either the 10 digit gps unit id number (will be unlocked only in your gps)or the sd serial # (it will be unlocked in any gps you put the sd card
under-select map product --on the bottom ---custom map set---add the maps FID# also called mapid #

click generate a few times on the bottom-all those numbers will unlock the map--copy that 25 digit number into the gmapsupp.unl file --- don't add a enter --just 25 digits on the first line ----
on a sd card create a garmin directory--in that directory copy your gmapsupp.unl file (unlock file) and the gmapsupp.img
When you save the .UNL file in Notepad, be sure you set the "Save as type" to "All Files", not "Text Documents".

Thank you for your support. I'll try it tonight. I hope I can fix it because I only have unlocked maps with the Unlock help from Mapsource. Never did it with an .unl file so when I read this it seems a little difficult

    Default gmapsupp

Now I have another question.WhenI upload maps with mapsupport to SD this programm calls the map gmapsupp
I also called the Bluechart map; gmapsupp but of course this is not possible together. I want now to copy back the bluechart map back to SD. Is it possible to cal it gmapsup2 or something?( and also the UNL map of course.)

    Thanks for your help.

Garmin BlueChart g2 Vision would normally be either gmapprom.img and/or gmapsupp.img files. Garmin HomePort can also read both of those names for g2 Vision charts if you have the maps connected to a PC with a memory card reader.
If you already have another gmapsupp.img I would rather rename that other map to gmapsup2.img instead.

Garmin Homeport is the best choice to view g2 and g2 Vision charts on a PC. If you don't have a marine GPS unit you will get distorted colors (water areas is blue instead of white) when looking at a g2 or g2 Vision map.

Hope this gives some useful information.

I Think this is nog working. Because yesterday I uploaded multiple maps for the first time with mapsource and when the mapsupp file is on the SD, mapsource gives an error that this file would be dammaged. Thats why I copy / paste the folder. Mapsource can not upload new information I think when I give the folder with the maps ( citynav) another name? Thats why I want te rename the bluechart mapsupp folder. What do you think???
